Ganeko Mako biography

Mako Ganeko was born in Okinawa (Japan) in 1981; in 2002 she graduated at the College of Art and Design of Joshibi (Tokyo) and she obtained in 2003 the post-graduated diploma at the College of Art and Design of Joshibi and in 2017 the biennial post-graduated diploma in Design at the Okinawa School of Art.
In 2018 she received the "Joshibi Milano" award, which allowed her to stay in Milan for six months and then attend the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2012 she works mainly as a teacher and artist using Japanese paper.
